Skatepark Designer Beta -- New Pieces!!

Total Pieces: 0This application is brought to you by Plans4Ramps!loading

Instructions

  • Now 50 piece levels to choose from! (Used to be 2).
  • Select a piece from the "Pieces" dropdown menu...
  • Drag the piece anywhere on the grid
  • Clicking a piece "selects" it
    • Rotate selected piece by clicking the "Rotate" button
    • Delete selected piece by clicking the "Delete" button
    • Create a copy of the selected piece by clicking the "Copy" button
    • Clicking the "Up" or "Down" button while a piece is selected will change it's level. A piece on the upper level will appear on top of a piece on the lower level. (Note: There are only 2 levels)
  • The "Reset All" button will delete everything off the grid!
  • The "Submit Park" Button will export your park to a downloadable PNG image and appear in the "Recently Submitted Parks" section below. (Note: you CAN continue editing after you submit)

Recently Changed and Fixed Issues (most recent first)

  • Added new pieces! Stairs, rails, corners
  • Added piece hover offset (makes it easier to grab pieces)
  • Made pieces smaller so parks can be made with more pieces
  • Automatically refresh page after a park is submitted
  • Made it so you can only submit a park once (lots of multiple submissions were occurring by accident);
  • Fixed some parks not submitting because they were timing out.

I like the idea of the program but you guys should probably include dirt as well as berms and the roll in feature... you should include dirt jumps and some slopestyle mtb features....
thumbnail gSchier wrote:
@Specializedpro1 Great suggestion! Lots more obstacles will come in the near future!

This is addictive. Great job. Very cool. I am a master carpenter, a welder and a self proclaimed "backyard" engineer. I build Hotrods, Houses, Harleys and yes, Ramps. Your app. is lots of fun man. Keep going. Robb.....

madd but u really need to be able to stack blocks higher.
thumbnail gSchier wrote:
@maximas Yep, that's actually the next thing on the to-do list. :)
thumbnail maximas wrote:
cool let us know when this is done and ill check it out

it would also be cool to have slopes with different curvature so u could make long ramps
thumbnail Kreamkid wrote:
lots of fun, would be even greater if you could rotate the angle of the whole area, have bowled corners, stairs, grind bars ,dirt terrain and some how be able to make a full pipe
thumbnail gSchier wrote:
@Kreamkid Rotation is something that I am going to try to implement in the near future. As for the new terrain, it is just a matter of taking the time to draw up some new pieces. Be sure to look for a bunch more terrain to choose from in the near future.

Thanks for the comment and be sure to tell your friends about it :)
