Im looking at building a 4ft mini, I've been looking around for prices and the 19mm (3/4) ply is a bit too much for my budget. I've found some 15mm (5/8) ply but was just wandering if it will be strong enough for the transition templates.

So the 3/8 plywood layer on he 6th mini runs long ways meaning the edges of the plywood are running opposite ways than the 2x4s going side to side wouldn't the plywood sag between each 2x4 going down unless you had another ply wood brace at the 4ft meeting place of the ply wood going aross the 16ft span? I do inline skating and I heard that the more vertical the ramp is, the better it is to air. I'm not sure that a 8' radius for a 6' halfpipe is enough vertical. Could a 7' radius be possible??? MkbmX asked:

In my town the only 8' angle iron I can find is 1/8" thick and made of aluminum. My guess is that's too thin to countersink so I'm assuming my next best option is to glue it on. I have two questions about this:

1- Do you think such the aluminum 1/8" thick angle iron will be suitable for a grind box?

2- What type of adhesives do you recommend for gluing the angle iron on?
